In 2008 Pavel Petrek co-founded Inmite with Michal Šrajer and Jaromír Fulnek. Over the years Inmite has become a respected creator and consultant of smartphone and tablet solutions in media, telco, financial and automotive industries, with clients like  companies like Raiffeisenbank, Airbank, Google, Avast, Škoda auto (Volkswagen group), Telefónica, Vodafone, Lagardère Active or Czech national TV. In 2014 Inmite was acquired by AVAST Software to become AVAST Mobile, with Pavel as mobile engineering Director, and later VP of Engineering.
